ELITE Series  machines have the standard features you've been looking for:

Live Tooling is available on all stations of the VDI top plate. Each station can be equipped with a driven tool for cross- or end-milling/drilling operations in the toughest materials. One-degree spindle orient is included. Internal and external coolant-style live tool holders are offered to direct coolant to the work area. Angular drilling or milling is easily accomplished using adjustable VDI live tooling attachments.
C-Axis contouring provides spindle positioning in increments of .001 degree. Three-dimensional contouring, complex round and prismatic machining, square shoulder and lettering are accomplished by synchronizing the spindle with the X and Z axes.

Significant upgrades were made to the ELITE Series lathes, including the 16C sub-spindle and X-axis linear glass scale options. We also beefed up the base, added a new door design, and improved the operator panel and a more robust tailstock.

The #3 Morse Taper tailstock provides added support when machining long parts and reduces part deflection. This allows for closer tolerances, better surface finishes, and higher speeds and feeds. The hydraulically-actuated, pressure-regulated tailstock casting is controlled automatically from the part program, or manually using a switch on the operator control panel. The tailstock offers a patented breakaway safety feature and adjustable solid stop option. Tailstock motions are accomplished on linear guideways.
